How is it that one little image of honey can evoke How is it that one little image of honey can evoke such emotion? This honey was from a vendor at the wonderful Port Royal Farmers Market when we took a trip to the South Carolina lowcountry. Wandering through the markets is one of our all-time favorite things to do. We love talking to the vendors and learning what makes them and their products special. Our local market here at home is doing a drive-by contactless pickup again this year. While we appreciate their efforts to keep us all safe it just grieves us to not be able to interact with the farmers and small batch makers. Many markets are now open, but I assume everyone understandably wears masks at those. Most of you probably don't realize it, but we are both hard of hearing. The whole world in masks is pretty much a hard of hearing person's worst nightmare. And so, this little photo of a jar of honey makes us yearn to visit our local markets, and those of towns we visit, and really be able to "hear" what everyone says. ....                                                                         #eatlocalgrown#missingthosedays#biscuitlove#localvendors#saturdaymorningvibes#smalltownlove#sweethoney#hardofhearing#foodphotograph#farmersmarkets#localmarket#beekeepers#southernfood#beautfort#foodbloggersofinstagram#farmerslife#rawhoney#foodphotographyandstyling#foodphotoshoot#foodphotography#lowcountryliving#southernfood#foodphotooftheday#foodheaven#smallbatch#femaleentrepreneurs#masonjar#nostalgic#lowcountry#wooden
