INGREDIENTS: Potatoes Butter Shallot Garlic Flour Half-and-Half Aged Gouda Cheese Salt & Pepper

STEP 1

Melt butter and then add garlic and shallot and saute'. Whisk in flour.

STEP 2

Add half and half and cook until thickened.  Remove from heat and stir in cheese, salt & pepper.

STEP 3

Layer half the sliced potatoes in dish. Spoon sauce over the top and repeat.  Bake at 400 degrees or until potatoes are tender.

Allow to rest about 10 minutes before serving.  Garnish with rosemary if desired.
