Crab Au Gratin

This recipe is adapted from a much loved, but long gone restaurant in Coastal Georgia. It is best served as a dip or spread.


Butter Flour Milk White wine Cheddar cheese Lump crab Paprika Cajun seasoning

Melt butter in a skillet. Whisk in flour, then milk.  Add salt and wine and simmer.

Add cheese and spices and stir until melted.  Fold in crab meat  and pour into small baking dish. Top with more cheese and paprika.

Bake 12- 15 minutes, or until bubbling.  Serve with crusty bread for dipping!
