Caramelized Peaches

Caramelized Peaches are a simple way to prepare summer's favorite fruit. Serve them with ice cream, whipped cream, over pancakes, french toast, or pound cake.

5-6 peaches washed, peeled and sliced 2 Tablespoons butter 2 Tablespoons brown sugar 1-1½ teaspoons vanilla extract or bourbon ½ teaspoon cinnamon optional
Melt butter in skillet over medium heat.
Add peaches to skillet and sprinkle with brown sugar, stirring well.
Cook 7-10 minutes stirring until peaches are as soft as desired.
Stir in bourbon or vanilla and cinnamon (if desired).
