Caramelized Peaches

Caramelized Peaches are a simple way to prepare summer's favorite fruit. Serve them with ice cream, whipped cream, over pancakes, french toast, or pound cake.

  • 5-6 peaches washed, peeled and sliced
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1-1½ teaspoons vanilla extract or bourbon
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon optional


  • Melt butter in skillet over medium heat.
  • Add peaches to skillet and sprinkle with brown sugar, stirring well.
  • Cook 7-10 minutes stirring until peaches are as soft as desired.
  • Stir in bourbon or vanilla and cinnamon (if desired).
