Spicy Southwestern Slow Cooker Chicken


  • 24- oz. jar of salsa
  • Juice from one lime
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro or culantro, chopped
  • 1- oz. package taco seasoning
  • 1-2 jalapeƱos peppers finely chopped
  • 4-6 boneless chicken breast halves defrosted


  • Put the salsa, diced jalapenos, taco seasoning, cilantro, and lime juice in the slow cooker and mix well.
  • Add 4-6 chicken breast halves.
  • Cook on low 4 hours or until chicken shreds easily.
  • Serve with Spanish rice or in tacos, quesadillas, or burritos!
