Classic Pecan Pie - Southern Style

A simple, old fashioned pecan pie that's easy to make and yields delicious results.
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1-½ teaspoons flour
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ¼ cup butter melted
- 1 cup pecans chopped
- 1 standard nine inch pie crust (not deep dish)
Prepare pie shell or use frozen shell.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Beat eggs well.
Add sugar, corn syrup, flour, salt and vanilla.
Stir in butter and pecans.
Bake approximately 60 minutes or until center is set.
