Classic Pecan Pie - Southern Style

A simple, old fashioned pecan pie that's easy to make and yields delicious results.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1-½ teaspoons flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ¼ cup butter melted
  • 1 cup pecans chopped
  • 1 standard nine inch pie crust (not deep dish)

Instructions
 

  • Prepare pie shell or use frozen shell.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Beat eggs well.
  • Add sugar, corn syrup, flour, salt and vanilla.
  • Stir in butter and pecans.
  • Bake approximately 60 minutes or until center is set.
