This is the same old fashioned cream cheese pound cake you remember from back in the day.  With just six ingredients it is pure and simple goodness.

THIS IS ALL YOU NEED:  Cream Cheese Butter Sugar Eggs Vanilla Cake Flour

STEP 1

Blend butter and cream cheese with stand mixer or hand mixer just until well blended.

STEP 2

Add sugar a little at a time beating well after each addition.

STEP 3

Add eggs 2 at a time beating just enough to blend after each addition.

STEP 4

Fold flour in gently by hand, stirring just until well blended.

STEP 5

Pour into a prepared bundt pan and bake at 275 degrees for about an hour and fifteen minutes.

Let the cake cool in the pan about 10 minutes before removing.

Sprinkle with confectioners sugar and serve with fruit and whipped cream if desired.
