Not to be confused with hot sauce, this spicy, vinegary sauce is most commonly used on cooked veggies to add extra flavor.
For this recipe you can use any small peppers you prefer. We love cayennes, jalapenos, and seranos!
Put clean peppers, garlic cloves, and peppercorns in small bottles. Bring vinegar to a boil.
Stir salt and sugar into vinegar until dissolved. Pour mixture into bottles.
Seal bottles tightly and let peppers "pickle" 5-7 days before using.
