Spicy Chicken Pasta is a mouthwatering combination of tender blackened chicken, creamy Cajun sauce, and pasta, creating a delicious comfort dish that comes together in a flash.
Heat a skillet with olive oil over medium-high heat. Pound chicken to an even thickness and season with blackened seasoning (seasoning recipe included).
Cook until chicken a cooked through and then remove to rest. After resting, slice the chicken into bite sized pieces.
Deglaze the skillet you cooked the chicken in with dry white wine. Whisk together half and half, flour, Cajun seasoning, oregano, and smoked paprika.
Whisk the flour mixture into the skillet with the white wine and pan drippings. Stir until the sauce thickens. Add the lemon juice and set the sauce aside.
Boil the pasta in a large pot of salted water according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set it aside.
In a large serving dish, combine the cooked pasta, the prepared Cajun Cream Sauce, and the sliced chicken. Toss well to combine.
