CORNED BEEF COOKED IN BEER

St. Patrick's Day will never be the same again!  Corned beef that's been cooked in beer and other aromatics will be the star of the party.

You'll need:  A 4-6 pound corned beef roast Killian's beer Bay leaves Cinnamon sticks Peppercorns Garlic Onion

For the Glaze you'll need:  Brown sugar Ground cloves Celery salt Dry mustard Caraway Seeds

STEP 1

Put the corned beef in a dutch oven. Add all ingredients through the onion and enough water to cover the roast.

STEP 2

Cook for 4-5 hours, covered or until corned beef is tender.  Your house will smell so good.

STEP 3

Mix remaining ingredients and pat onto the warm corned beef. Cook on grill or under broiler until coating is crunchy!

Serve with more beer and potatoes if you like. A slice of rye bread goes perfectly too!  Happy St. Patrick's Day y'all!
