Besides the chicken you need:  Vegetable Oil Salt Onion Powder Garlic Powder Black Pepper Smoked Paprika Cumin Cayenne Pepper

STEP 1

If you have time soak in a brine solution of salt water with brown sugar.  Full instructions in the recipe.

STEP 2

Mix the remaining ingredients to make the seasoning blend.

STEP 3

Dry the chicken, brush with oil, and coat all over with the seasoning blend.

STEP 4

Grill chicken until it reaches an internal temperature of 155 and then start brushing with sauce, if desired.

STEP 5

Remove from grill when temperature reaches 175-185 degrees. Allow to rest 5-10 minutes before serving.
