- ¾ cup fresh cherries halved, pitted & stemmed
- ½ lemon thinly sliced
- 1 quart water
- 2 sprigs mint leaves (optional)
Add cherries, lemon and mint if using into 1 quart container.
Fill with water and chill 2-12 hours.
Remove fruit and mint and strain if desired.
- Use more cherries for a more intense flavor.
- Flavor will vary with length of time the water and fruit are in the container together.
- Water may be kept refrigerated after the fruit is removed for up to 7 days.
