Easy Chicken Quiche Recipe with Asparagus

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups chicken breast seasoned with Cajun seasoning, cooked, and cut into bite sized pieces
  • 8 spears asparagus cooked, cut one one inch size pieces
  • 1 ¼ cups heavy whipping cream or whole milk, or half & half
  • 5 eggs lightly beaten
  • 1 ¼ cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 pie crust optional

Instructions
 

  • If using crust, line pie pan with pastry. For crustless version, grease pie dish with olive oil or cooking spray.
  • Whisk large eggs, heavy cream, and seasonings in a large bowl until egg mixture is well blended.
  • Layer chicken mixture, asparagus, and cheese in prepared pie dish.
  • Pour egg mixture over the layered ingredients.
  • Bake at 350°F for 35-50 minutes, depending on size of quiche. Check for doneness by lightly shaking pan - center should be firm.
