goat cheese with honey, lemon, and black pepper

Goat cheese with honey, black pepper, and lemon is a creamy, flavorful dip for veggies or fruit slices and a perfect spread for crackers or crostini!

If you love goat cheese like I do, that title probably made you say "mmm..." Let's be honest, goat cheese doesn't need anything added to make it delicious, but goat cheese with honey? Truly a perfect combination. Then you throw in that fresh lemon juice and cracked black pepper? Out of this world.

I'm not going to lie, this goat cheese with honey and black pepper is so simple I hesitate to call it a recipe. Especially when all you need to do is throw the ingredients in a food processor and whip it all together.

To be perfectly honest, the first time I made this for my family I just mashed it all up with a fork. Not as pretty, but just as delicious.

After you mix up all the ingredients, cover and refrigerate it for an hour or so to let all the flavors come together. The black pepper gives it just a hint of spice that pairs so well with the goat cheese and honey.

We do indeed love goat cheese around here and salads are one great way to use it. Melon and Proscuitto Salad is perfect in the summer when the melons are at their peak. This Salad with Oranges, Goat Cheese and Marinated Asparagus is a go-to special occasion side.

What do I serve with Goat Cheese with Honey, Lemon, and Black Pepper?

  • Crackers
  • Toasted Bread
  • Raw vegetables such as carrots or celery
  • Sliced fruit such as apples or pears

If you have any other ideas for how to use this delicious spread, please let me know... I'm addicted and I need more excuses to make it!
