I have been really into pear cocktails lately and it seems like they can do no wrong. How does pear mix perfectly with every type of spirit? Who knows, but I’m here for it! The pear bourbon combo is perfect for a fall cocktail because they both go so nicely with all those fall spices we know and love!
Speaking of fall spices, chai tea was just made for this season. Did you know chai has ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and allspice? That’s everything you need for a fall cocktail right there! Just add pear, bourbon and ice and you’re in business.

One of my favorite things about this recipe is how easy it is to make for a crowd… You’re going to want to make extra pear syrup anyway, so then it’s up to you how much tea you want to brew and how much bourbon to pour in!

Spiced Pear Bourbon Iced Tea
Pear Simple Syrup
- 1 pear sliced
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 12 oz chai tea brewed
- 5 oz pear simple syrup
- 4 oz bourbon
Pear Simple Syrup
- In a small pot, bring 1/2 cup of water, sliced pear and sugar to a boil. Remove from heat and bring to room temperature.
- Strain out fruit and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
- Combine chai tea, 5 oz simple syrup, and bourbon in a cocktail shaker and shake to combine. Pour over ice split between 2 glasses.
